I've been looking there is nothing out so far I have contacted GlowShift and they said that they have no plans to produce any gauges for our car, I've got a guy that's gonna build me a 1 of setup so will see how this goes

 

What would be involved for someone to do this custom? Any idea what I could expect in price if I went this route?

 

What's the motivation to change those gauges?

I quite happy with the oil temp and pressure gauges, it would be nice if the boost was a combo vacuum/boost but the whole cluster would have to get bigger in order for it to be readable.

 

I think the gauges could be improved upon to show the given information in more detail. Thats all. If it has to be bigger or it's too extensive or expensive of a project I can live with the factory setup. Just a little custom touch I'm investigating.

Nice looking...either Canadian or European with degrees Celsius and pressure in bars (one bar equivalent to atmospheric pressure at sea level).

 

Im going to be doing an A pillar triple set up.... gauges alone are 680

 

I think that there is an air bag in there....

 

I would like for someone to make a new top for it, specifically an extended one. I dislike how the gauges can be seen on the windshield at night. Not something I can't deal with(seeing as I have since September).

I'm doing a carbon fiber individual pod set up on A pillar..... then both A pillars will then be wrapped in a black felt material to match... I should have all the work done by Friday if so I'll post pictures

 

I wanna see someone make a replacement dash top cluster for aftermarket gauges, like they make for the STi

I'm sure it will come, just a matter of when for this car.

 

Well after taking the a pillar plastic cover off we realized that the airbag is at the very very top of the a pillar and only for about 6 inches down the pillar. The rest is free to mount gauges but the way I have it designed is once airbag deploys it will push the gauges to the side and drop them it will not get in the way..

 

A digital read-out would be cool, But I would opt for a center speaker upgrade. The center channel really adds a (bad)tinniness to the sound.

 

Best bet for SQ is to remove that completely and look into better tweeters and crossovers for the sail panels.

We are still working on pricing. However it will be near $400. It's heavily dependent on the features we end up implementing.

I PM'd Smitty1960, and he told me that he ordered his from triple gauge dash top pod from Block8head on Facebook.

 

Why not just use the Accessport gauges and be done with it?

Addition to any updates, I have a question about the gauges... how do they function/ what are the signals up there? analog? digital? I don't mean to high jack the thread just didn't know if anyone had any information on the type of signals going to the gauges.

 

As far as I have read, they are going to be sourcing the signal from the stock wiring, so that means it wil be a digital read from the ecu alogrithm. You will be getting the same readings as the stock gauges just in a cooler setup. It will def be an upgrade but for almost the same price and a little elbow grease, you can set up direct read gauges, which will give better and more accurate values than what the ecu algorithm gives. Grab your gauges, a pod from Block8head and a sandwich plate and youre good to go.
