What size cap should I purchase to cap the BPV solenoid lines and the T? Would 7/32" work on each one?

 

So can I cap off both lines coming out of the solenoid on the valve cover. I know one runs to the old bpv amd the other was for the boost side. Now I currently jave both the hard vaccum lines dangling.

 

Yeah. I did mine like the diagram though and later learned that you dont need to hook anything bakc up top. Diagram shold really be updated to reflect this. You'll need a cap with size 7/32 for the top.

No. Not enough vacuum to activate the BOV. CP-E had a special spring made for their exhale kit to run off of the solenoid. I think it's-3psi or something.

Just get a tee and tap into the line.

:whs: That'e exactly what I did on mine. Grabbed some "Ts" from Autozone. Unless you work at a machine shop and can fab up a block. CPE has one if you feel like dishing out $150.

Has your OEM failed?

 

I haven't seen any ST's run a MAC noid, ever. Sounds like a problem from a different platform.

OEM has not been an issue.

 

Where do you all mount your boost controller? I have mine zip-tied to a little part of the car near the brake lines. I wonder if there's a better spot.

 

Lol! I also have mine zip tied over by the brake lines/passenger side wheel well rear. It's a decent location.

You could, but i believe The symposer plates are all tapped 1/8 NPT

 

Is the diagram in first post accurate? Or can you eliminate both lines coming from the engine? There were a few posts above that appear to say you can, but just want to make sure as I’m in the middle of this step now.

If you do eliminate both lines, do you also eliminate the T fitting and run that side directly to the hot side charge pipe? Thanks
