Update after 10 months of use:
One of my reverse bulbs no longer functions. The other bulb is very touchy and overheats easily if on longer than 1 minute then stops functioning for about 5 minutes…I only noticed this when replacing them with Diode Dynamics XP50’s today.
Not going to lie, this was kind of expected when buying cheapo Chinese knockoff style bulbs.
Here are some pictures I took during the install, all pictures were taking from my phone using as many manual settings as possible…not all were taken in same lighting conditions, but you will get the gist of it. I should also mention that I cleaned both taillights so one wasn’t covered in more dirt than the other.

My consensus is that both bulbs I used are almost identically bright, at first I couldn’t determine the difference. If I had to pick one over the other in terms of brightness, I would choose the Ebay bulb. I think the different levels of brightness has to do more with the way the bulb sits in the reflector. If you notice the Diode Dynamics bulb is slightly longer, thus it sticks out from the socket a little further and is possibly not as optimal for that reflector.
The Ebay bulb is a 6000k, it seemed to have a slight blue hue to it. I don’t know exactly the “k” value of the Diode Dynamics bulbs, but they didn’t have the same kind of cheap HID kit kind of blue to them.
Only time will tell how the Diode Dynamics hold up; but I’m not worried too much seeing as they have a 3 year warranty, they’re a supporting vendor here, and appear to have great customer service.
I also installed Diode Dynamics XP80 tail and brake lights, replacing the stock bulbs. I have pictures of those as well if anyone would like to see that comparison.
