Just put rokblokz on so I'll have to update this post.

Additional Information:
This tire/wheel set up is approximate 0.45" taller than the stock wheels. This results in about 1.4% above the indicated speed on the speedometer and distance indicated on the odometer/trip-meter.

Im going to be DDing my FsT this winter, im planning on getting wheels for summer use with the tires that come with the car, and using the stock rims with winter tires as my winter setup. Good idea/ bad idea? Ive noticed alot of you have smaller thinner wheels for winter

Well step 1 was recognizing that you need winter tires. Unlike some of the geniuses on here that swear that an all season "is fine in the snow."

On my speed, I went an inch smaller and 1 size narrower to have a bit more splash on the sidewalls, for these crappy NJ roads.

Im only talking about those guys that live where it snows. For the others, all seasons are fine.

Im in MI, and of course snow tires. I couldnt think of another way! What is the benefit of going smaller and thinner? Would running stock wheels with stock size snow tires be awful?

I live in Missouri and ran all seasons on my stock wheels. Worked fine even though we had a terrible winter.

i'm sure you could run an all season...all season long and be okay, I don't see why not if youre willing to spend the money for good tires..

my problem is I drive 120 miles a day for work, and I need a mid-profile tire or something with enough tread so I can go longer than 20k miles on a set of tires.

I have cooper zeon rs3-a all season tires on my stock wheels and I am 99% sure they have a 50k mile warranty. May he worth looking into this since they are one of the few who offer a mileage warranty on these type of tires. They also have great grip

No prob. I got mine pretty cheap to. I think they were $530 installed with road hazard and a $70 mail in rebate

Pretty much every Performance All Season tire has a mileage warranty, most are in the 40-50K range

So I'm going with konig oversteer wheels, which are 18x8 +45. Would I be able to use these wheels on my garageline 20/25mm spacers? I know the offset would be low, I'm just curious as to if it would rub. I'm also lowered on eibach sportlines

Very very likely to rub with effectively a +20/+25 offset.

If you're already buying new wheels, why not get some with the correct offset to begin with?
