Me too. Any recommendations for tires/tire size. Current plan is to go slightly wider with 245/40/18 Pilot Super Sports when the stock F1s wear out.

245/40R18 is in the quote that you pasted. I'll let him answer as to potential rubbing but I'd say I doubt it with that setup.

For the most part, regardless of the max pressure the tire can handle, the correct pressure to start off with is what the manufacturer recommended. The only reason to adjust from there is if you are trying to correct observed wear patterns that are not normal.

Seriously, unless you radically change the weight of the car, the normal pressures are still going to be the best.

Of course, this is for street use. For strip / track, that's an entirely different story...
