Glad you sorted that out! I came back to check on your status, but definitely best type of problem to have (minus the time banging your head on the door screaming WTF?!, lol).

^^^^^^This guy is one of my regular customers.^^^^^^I see him a couple of times a week.
That's all that I have.
Glad it was an easy fix.
But is he the most interesting man in the world IRL?

Glad you got it sorted! Its amazing how intertwined these systems all are anymore.

Man I really hope this is my issue. Except all my lights work, I think. SOME of them work anyways. Haven't had the car long enough to find all my gripes. LOL

Thanks for the head start on this, now to troubleshoot my car. Did you have any codes at all? I have a few from the BCM that are door handle related and it's BOTH front and rear door handle so I am hoping it's just a fuse that I can replace without it blowing again.

Funny enough, this thread helped me sort out a different problem leading to a similar behavior.
I own a Focus Wagon MK3 (not yet filled in my profile) since 2015. A couple of days ago, the contact head of the power supply for the mirror-camera I've installed a while ago, unscrewed and dropped into the lighter socket, blowing up the corresponding fuse (don't remember which one 🤔). Being on the road with no available replacement, I took one from something my car is not provided with - Speed control something (actually I installed an after market version, but it has nothing to do with that fuse 😊).
Yesterday I bought some fuses and hurried up to restore the original configuration. At least that was the intention. I started to were I was supposed to go, and at the first red traffic light the motor stopped, remembering me to press the (de)activation button. But it didn't light up 🤨 Afew minutes later, willing to open the driver window... surprise-surprise, not working 🤨
Then I took the phone and searched on the Internet, finding this thread. Checked the interior lights - no lights 🤔 After patiently read all the posts, I got into the F60-solution. But wtf did I do with F60. Once again down to the floor and... one of the fuses I bought and which for whatever reason arrived in F60 position was blown by default. Quick replacement and here I am with all functions back again 😊
Thanks a lot for you to OP for having this issue and solving it 🤗🤣
