Well if it is less expensive and meets the spec than that's a different story. Wasn't aware it was cheaper. I get Motorcraft stuff cheap so I'm only paying about $18/qt. Either way, I'm personally fine running OEM and I wanted share the results with everyone that the OEM stuff appears to hold up just fine.

Quick question. Coming from a GTI, I have 6qts of VAICO trany fluid. Post from page 2 from flstomper says WSS-M2C00-D2 is fine. My Vaico says WSD-M2C00-D2. Is this till ok? Was that a typo from him? Be nice to save over $100 for fluid.

VACIO TF DSG is the type.

Thanks!

No WSS-M2C00-D2 is the Ford spec. It's in the supplement you got with the car

Question: I bought this motul fluid back in january and just never got around to putting it in my car. Do you think it's still good? Not too familiar with trans oil so now sure how long it can sit in the bottle before it becomes bad.

Statistically I probably live closer to you, send it to me to properly dispose of it so shipping costs less.

Castrol does meet the spec but it's hard to come by in the states.
Agreed. Typically see it offered on eBay from sellers based in Germany or UK.

Motorcraft XT-11-QDC and Castrol Syntrans FE 75W (and Volvo 31280771?) may be the same fluid. Possible that Castrol makes it and Motorcraft rebrands it, based on limited information from Motorcraft MSDS where what is disclosed is identical. No experience with Ravenol, but it's a full synthetic from Germany you can buy at their U.S. website for about the same price as Motul.

All below fluids meet Ford WSS-M2C200-D2.

--Castrol Syntrans FE 75W--
