Hey Everyone,
I just picked up a 2014 TS ST a few days ago and I have to say that i'm friggen in love with it. I came here from Subaru's and the ST ends a two and a half year drought of only having a stock 99 civic to drive around and be "responsible". Well I can't be happier that has ended! here are a few shots of it so far!

Happy with the car color but still get questions to this day of people asking whether its orange or yellow. I guess its a little bit of both depending on the light :)
It's zackary the color of the road caution signs, so "Caution sign yellow" would be appropriate.

Pretty awesome car huh? I've had mine for about 6 months and still love it to death! It's by far the sportiest car i've owned, so i don't have much to compare it to. I was a truck guy for years, and got my first car like 4 years ago. My car ownership went 2005 Audi A6 wagon(sold almost immediately due to cracked block), Passat W8 wagon(loved that car, not the fastest but a uber rare v8 German wagon was cool to own, sold because of risk factor in terms of maintenance and motor issues, one of my favorite cars of all time), BMW E39 wagon(528, 5 speed stick, H and R springs, m5 bumpers, cool car, loved it) now this. My ST is my favorite vehicle I've owned, period. Kind of unfair to compare to anything i've previously owned though, it's the newest, nicest, sportiest, most expensive car I've owned. So it SHOULD be the best car i've owned. But, the driving experience is so damn good I really don't think you can get a better driving experience for the money. Certainly the best FWD driving experience you can get for the money.

You however, coming from Subaru's which are renowned for their drivetrain and driving experience, might have a better barometer to judge these sort of things. How does the ST compare? My buddy who has had 300zx TT, and now a 350z, he's driven my car and seems to like it. He would never tell me that though because he's a **** talker lol Which package did you get, did you get the Recaro's? Having never owned a car or ridden in a car with seats like that, it was a revelation. Now I'm so used to them I take them for granted, but when I first got it i couldn't believe the support. It makes you realize you can't really drive a car at it's limits unless you have good seats. You expend too much effort just trying to keep your ass in the seat, the Recaro's hold you there so you can focus on the task of driving instead of sliding out of the seat. Pure awesome.

You seem partial to wagons and hatchbacks, lol. So am I though. As for the comparison between subaru's and this, I actually told my wife that I would take this over any of the subaru's I owned or drove. My two legacies don't compare too much because they were made to be a more luxurious sports car than a performance sports car, but even when they were stage 2 they couldn't hold a candle to the ST. The closest thing I have driven was a 2013 WRX that was modified (probably something like Stage 2) and lowered, and honestly I would still take the ST over it. It's cheaper, just as nice, just as fast (if not faster thanks to the lack of drivetrain loss), and it is just so dang smooth. I may sometime go back to a used subaru for a winter car because nothing compares to subaru's in winter, but as for sports cars I think there are many many more options better than subaru for less money.

Now, as for my ST itself, I have an ST1, but it has everything I would have wanted like push button start, sunroof and aftermarket heated seats thanks to the previous owner. I don't have the recaro seats but the base ST seats are actually surprisingly comfortable and are very snug. Gas mileage isn't too bad compared to the civic I have been driving for 2+ years either and being able to choose between 87 and 91 octane is fantastic.

Washed, claybarred and waxed all ready for falll. New to me 18" Rado's coming soon before she goes to sleep for the winter and I bring the 9-2x back out for the season.

Carbon fibre airbox lid looks baller.
Thanks. Its a AMS Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake & Carbon Fiber Snorkle kit. Wish they made it a complete carbon fiber intake pipe.

Just got back from driving the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the foliage and this is one of my best shots. Taken with my D300 Nikon and Sigma 18-250 f4-f5.6 lens at 1/320 and f9 at 62mm. That's wifey-poo in the picture.

Not sure it quite matches up. Maybe a bit more orange in the mix...
