Hi All,

After my most recent post, I swapped out an o2 sensor and everything went back to normal again.

I've since moved and no longer have the ability to work on the car myself, so anything that would require getting underneath the car will have to be outsourced.

I was driving the car today and noticed the idle fluctuating between 750 and 1500 RPM at a stoplight for a couple of seconds before normalizing, when I parked, I checked my ap and saw the P0141 is back. After looking back in notes I had on this issue, a lot of sources were pointing towards swapping the o2 out with a defouler, curious to see what everyone else thinks.

I already have an appt to take it into a private shop next week, but would love to see if there is anything I can do at home to save on labor.

Thanks.

I only see mention in your past posts of a p0171, as far as the non- manufacturer specific codes are concerned.

I don't mean this to sound rude, but There really isn't anything that's going to save you money here. No shop will trust a customer's diagnosis. You'll have to pay the diagnostic charge regardless, and they will start from scratch like they would if the customer hadn't done any of their own prior investigation.
