Probably the AC pressure switch. If the PCM does not see a reasonable pressure to turn the compressor on, it will not apply voltage to the clutch. Usually if the pressure is too high.

How did you check the refrigerant level?

 

friend of mine owns a car repair place, were too busy to look more into it since i just stopped by. he checked it with their machine...said its correct level

 

Oh ok. Refrigerant is measured in pounds, which is weighed after the system is evacuated. Which takes some time. I think the word level through be off.

 

Grab Forscan and check for codes. I had the same issue (no power at the plug and relay and fuse were fine) and it was related to my evap temp sensor. Forscan should be able to see why the compressor is not being commanded on.

 

Just got back from dealer from a recall
Told them about ac
They ran power directly to it and it blows cold air
So theres def some wire issue
They said im right out of warranty and said it will most likely take several hundreds to get fixed

Any suggestions?

 

Start tracing the harness back to the fuse box and look for damage. I recall someone having a similar issue and the harness had been smashed somehow. They fixed the wire and all was good.

 

i haven't seen anything abnormal....how hard would it be to run new wires to it?
does anyone have a wiring diagram or has done something of this nature?
its really annoying since i know that it works but can't find the culprit wire...and 2 places that i asked how much to fix said they won't know till they start and how many hours it will take.

any suggestions?
