Hi World,

Im very very very new to the ford world; and theres just a few features that I want to change on my focus and I dont really know where to start.

Firstly, I have a 2022.5 Focus ST (2.3L) Mk 4.5 in Manual (Australian Spec) - This spec does not have the 'performance pack' of the UK Spec (No track mode, launch control)

Ive got my self a vLinker Cable, and connected to my car for the first time using forscan; It picked up a whole bunch of modules! YAY! part 1 accomplished.

So ive been looking and looking for guides support etc using forscan. From what ive gathered firstly, I should back up all my as built data module by module before Changning anything, which I plan to do. Although, even in doing this, im still **** scared in screwing something up. How likely is it that I can brick my car? then would would be the fix? is there things I should completely stay away from (my plan was to STAY AWAY with anything that has (as built) other then preforming a backup)

What I really want to do is:
  • Turn turn active accessory power after switch off from 30 mins, to like 2mins, as I notice battery drain issues (where the car essentially goes into a deep sleep)
  • Auto Lock

Whats really nice to have would be
  • Rev Matching on the downshift
  • Audible warning on lock
  • More 'lane centering' then lane guidance

Ive looked and looked for items on the mk4 / 4.5 focus and there isnt much, maybe im not looking right?

In terms of modules etc, does it work that each model of car has different modules, so you cant use logic on changes applied on an Ford Escape to apply for a Focus, right?

Any advice/guidance would be appreciated.

I think you're looking for the powerpoint timeout setting, but I can't remember which module it was in.
