let us know! mine might be faulty because of the cold, but I did get the p26de code thrown.
Mine doesn't work and I live in San Diego, so does cold weather really have anything to do with it? I have just over 3k on the car. Have had issues two weeks into owning it. It's now two months and it doesn't work at all anymore. I do get the beep though.

Sooo from reading that, it looks like it would require an AP and I don't have one of those because other issues. Car threw a couple codes and started stalling two days before I was going to buy one. So I never bought one. Either way, symposer can be fixed under warranty. Not my problem that it broke, it's fords. My problem is that I can't find a good dealership to do the warranty work. Then again I'm too busy to take the car in anyways. I'll get it in, eventually...

Again to clarify, I didn't get any issues (or the beep) until I reflashed my AP to the newest firmware with updated maps. I'm curious to see if I have the issues with the SS if I uninstall the AP. That will have to wait until this ice goes away though. I don't dare take the car out in this mess until I get my DWS tires on or it's warmer/dry.

How did you BREAK your sound symposer?

You been playin' with it again haven't you...
Your going to go blind if you keep playing with that.

My valve stuck shut so I took it off, took the motor off the valve, broke it free, and lubed/cleaned it with some silicone spray. Now the valve works (just checked this weekend with a helper) but I still don't hear any noise. I think the symposer itself might be frozen up, so that will be next. It takes less time to R&R the valve than it does to drive to the dealer and deal with them. Plus it sounds like a really good excuse for a tech to go flog your car.

Ford told me today the bulletin says don't replace a part yet their coming out with a tsb

I work for the same company but different brand as the ford dealer I went to today. The advisor knows this and that I'm in the business. We went for a test drive and then he took it in the shop and came back and told me the deal. So I wait. It's just annoying the cutting on and off while driving

Just for everyone, I have had my SS replaced and after it working terrific for two weeks the new one is now doing the exact thing.... Beeping and cutting in and out. So I will return to the dealer and let them know about a possible TSB in the pipeline because replacing it does not seem to fix the issue.

Just for everyone's info...
