Getting rid of your Focus ST for a Fiesta RS?

I've been entertaining the idea recently. Why, because the Fiesta RS is potentially a teeny little battle beast raring to consume anything and everything that get's in it's way! Really though, I'd like a more compact little city car to zip around town in. The Focus ST is an EPIC car, but it feels more practical for now. In a couple of years, I won't really need the practicality of the Focus and a Fiesta would likely fit the bill.

Curious who's genuinely considering this move?

The Fiesta ST is one of the most fun cars I've ever driven. It's because Ford started with a very fun car in base form. My wife has a standard old run of the mill Fiesta SE with an automatic. If you put it in sport mode, and keep the pedal mashed, it's a fun little car too. Never feels underpowered, which is surprising given it only has 120hp. It's no rocket ship, but it's fun.

Take the same car, put 197hp in it, and a better suspension and the fun is amplified. If I weren't so big, I'd own one in a heartbeat.

My mother laughed at me when I told her I bought a Focus. I can only imagine what she'd say if I bought a Fiesta.

Much more cost effective to spend $500 on the Ford Racing tune than switch cars. Then there would be no contest.
