It's in the back with the spare. Its in one of the holes in the styrofoam closer to the back seat, towards the passenger side of the car. There's actually a little cutout in the styrofoam where the funnel clips in.

Thanks for the tip, that's exactly where it was. I just bought a 2018 Focus SEL, and my manual said it would be in the glove compartment. Again, thanks.

 

If you have an ST2 or ST3, saying it's next to the sub is an easier description.

Johnn has you covered. That's where mine was.

 

The one in my car was missing when I picked it up. It was not my first Ford with a capless fuel filler, so I knew to check for it. When I notified the salesman, he took one from a car on the showroom floor to supply me with one. Presumably, that's how mine lost its funnel in the first place.

All of that is a long-winded way of saying the funnel may have been poached from your car while it sat on the dealer's lot. If you can't find it, swing by the dealer and let them know.

 

Found it. In the styrofoam spare tire surround as suggested.

 

We don’t seem to have a place for it in the boot, in our U.K. cars, it’s supposed to be in the glovebox, I didn’t have one, so I bought one off eBay for about £4, I keep mine in the offside rear door pocket, I keep it there because it’s the nearest convenient place to the filter cap.

I've also not found one and ordered on eBay. I wondered if it would fit in the little hole on the top right of my photo above. I guess I'll be able to try when it arrives! 😁
