Focus Fuel Funnel

According to the manual, there's suppose to be fuel funnel that comes with the car to be used road side in the event you run out of gas. I checked the glove box where the manual says it can be found and also been told it can be back with the spare, not there either. So does this funnel exist only in the manual or did any of you actually get one? I really don't plan on ever using it but since I see this car as an investment, I want to make sure every thing is there.

It's in the back with the spare. Its in one of the holes in the styrofoam closer to the back seat, towards the passenger side of the car. There's actually a little cutout in the styrofoam where the funnel clips in.

The one in my car was missing when I picked it up. It was not my first Ford with a capless fuel filler, so I knew to check for it. When I notified the salesman, he took one from a car on the showroom floor to supply me with one. Presumably, that's how mine lost its funnel in the first place.

All of that is a long-winded way of saying the funnel may have been poached from your car while it sat on the dealer's lot. If you can't find it, swing by the dealer and let them know.

We don’t seem to have a place for it in the boot, in our U.K. cars, it’s supposed to be in the glovebox, I didn’t have one, so I bought one off eBay for about £4, I keep mine in the offside rear door pocket, I keep it there because it’s the nearest convenient place to the filter cap.
On a side note, if you want a more U.K. based site, go to focustoc.com.
