Custom Catless Downpipe

Hey all.

I'm currently in the process of making my own catless downpipe, kind of a "skunkworks" deal.

I'm wondering about using an O2 sensor defouler? I am tuned, is there any risk to using a defouler? Should I have my tuner look at a log and provide an updated tune for the catless pipe? Is it worth the time and money to go for a wideband setup, if I'm running stock turbo and no aux fuel?

Seems like from a previous THREAD any tuner can shut off the code for this, and the sentiment was the Vibrant J-Style is the way to go otherwise. This thread was from 2021, so I'm just curious if there is any more recent advice about catless vs. 100/200 cell catted downpipes?

I appreciate any and all advice or viewpoints on this topic. Thanks!

EDIT: I should have mentioned this catless downpipe will be paired with my Greddy Supreme SP stainless exhaust, which I'm hoping will sound gnarly.
