I had to disconnect the over the axle joint to drop it low enough to get the front hanger in. That was the rough one. Also a couple of locking collars or hose clamps on the hanger rods for the back will stop the side to side motion.

Reason being, the hanger rod diameter is a little smaller than the hole in the hanger.

For those that haven't bought the cobb hangers but are thinking about it, Torque Solutions TS-ST-EHK hangers are a cheaper alternative. They look identical to the cobb hangers.

 

how did you disconnect the joint?

I tried doing all the hangers today and god damn such a tight fit i couldnt even get the front 2 on fully imma have to try again tm.

 

I never replaced the front most mount hard location and exhaust stays still with the other three

 

Undid the clamp just before the rear suspension. It was not easy after tightening it down like I did. Thats a problem with slip joints. But at this price you cant really complain

 

And yes the front two, especially the front one are next to impossible to put on with the exhaust in place

 

yeah i noticed this, i guess imma have to move the exhaust out of place to do this? how so?
