Could be a few things, bad bpv comes to mind, what did the dealer say?

 

Googled this...it references Ford turbo charged trucks, but the codes are probably the same...

Dealership is having me bring it in. They are giving me a rental they said they'd be able to work on it tomorrow. It does seem like my bypass valve is getting stuck or is not able to release pressure.

Update.........

So the dealership calls me and says the green filter is what caused the problem. He also said the aftermarket air box, which its the stock air box with the top off, could also be to blame. Soooo if you have a green filter I would be cautious about keeping it on your car. More to follow, I'm on my way to bring in the top now. Such a pain.......

Definitely not the fault of the green filter. Dealers...They're so funny!

 

I would go back to the dealer and nicely ask to speak with the service manager. When he shows up I would punch him straight in the face, lol...

An air filter isn't going to anything to your car but make some noise. Something else is wrong with the car, they should know that.
If you've been driving it hard with the soft stock motor mount I would bet that one of the intercooler pipes is loose from being rocked around so violently.
That is my guess...

 

I argued to the guy that I talked to that there is no way an air filter can cause the BPV to flutter and not release boost properly. He said since it's an aftermarket part the warenty might not cover it. This really agrivated me, it was reallllllllllly hard to not call him an idiot. What they wanted to do was install the stock filter and put everything back to stock. Since I still had the filter I gave it to him for them to re-install and test it. Then I asked to talk to a tech about the issue and he said the tech who was working on my car is too busy. At this point I wanted to go off on him, good thing my wife was with me :saint: After I explained the whole thing to him again and explained what the sensors do that he was referring to he still shrugged me off with saying "well once we put the stock filter back on and test it we will see if its the issue." So me and the wife left. When I got home I made a few phone calls. One to FSwerks, and another to GreenUSA. I am still amazed at the customer service that is involved with this community. Both Green and FSwerks were very helpfull in pointing me in a direction to help support my claim. They both said the exact same thing, witch was the same thing I had explained to the dealership. The funny thing is, after talking to Green they had mentioned that the Saleen mustangs come with a Green filter and that they even had a program with Ford to support the F-150 with a filter. It still makes me laugh when they tried to say I have an aftermarket airbox :LAME:

So I red the warranty report they gave me. They ran 2 diagnostics, one with the green filter and one with the stock. The second one with the stock filter is what they went off of. The sensor that they said was bad wasn't even bad. It had come in plugged, I'm guessing cause the RMM is so soft. They plugged it in and sent me on my way. My warranty is still valid. I guess they realized a filter can't make a sensor unplug itself. Moral of the story, know your car don't take no for an answer.

Where is the sensor located? I got the same code a while ago except my car runs fine. It probably makes sense i take a look myself before going to the dealer with it...

 

The tech said it was the third sensor on the underside of the motor. Idk if that's the right location for it bit he said it had come unplugged. I also had the 13-9-7 tsb done after that.

What you do when aggravated with a service department is ask for the dealerships general manager then threaten him with a lawsuit.
