Is the back of your car a dust magnet? Mine is terrible, I drove maybe 2 miles round trip today to bring something to my daughter she forgot and it is terrible. What can be done to slow it down?

I've found that pretty much anything you put on the paint as a protectant (wax, spray wax, quick detailer, etc.) attracts it twice as fast as when you just wash & dry it. I have a fresh coat of wax & Rain-X on my car right now and I can't drive around the block without looking like I've been in a rally.
I'd have to quit my job if I bought a black car & stand next to it with a California Duster in my hand. I love my car to look clean for at least a day after I labor over it for hours. That doesn't happen with black cars unless you put them in a vacuum chamber right after the wash.
I have 12 microfiber cloths for various applications in / out of the car and sure. Its clean and dry then you drive down the road and all the **** in the cracks run down the back of the car and boom. dirty. Nothing keeps TB clean. Nothing.
I live in a dusty area, down a dirt/gravel road. And it is so annoying to wash my car, drive it home, and when I get there...covered in dust. And all of it on the hatch and back bumper. Unless it has rained in the last two days, then the dust will stay on the road. My car is clean only while I am in town. Once I go home, dirty car.
The DI motors like ours blow mad black soot over the back of the car when you "get on it". My buddy's silver speed3 does it real bad. Plus the center exit exhaust as mentioned above doesn't help haha
a lot of the dust is definitely due to all the pollen, can't wait for this season to be over.
I clean the car. Look back at it. It's already dirty. Sadness
My little electric power washer takes care of a couple days of hatch dust very quickly. Coming from 2001 golf and 2012 focus hatch to the ST, being prepared for rear dust build up is an understatement.
