If you think you have a leak, if recommend taking apart the 2 halves of the symposer for inspection - the diaphragm cracks or tears over time.

Ford will only sell you the entire assembly, not just the diaphragm part.

Not sure about the oring tho.
Might be able to sub a generic one from a kit, viton fluorocarbon material probably.

I have it deleted. But the new delete plate that I bought reuses the factory o-ring... I threw out the original sound symposer. I may have to find a generic o-ring.

Somebody should be able to check their stash and measure. I might be able to tomorrow.

This might have one good enough to work. I can't can't remember if the section is round or more squarish?

my car came with a symposer delete plate that i swapped out for one with a tap on it to run the bov. the o-ring on both just look like regular o-rings.

The one on my last ST did as well. This one requires the factory o-ring which is much larger than a standard o-ring.

The other option is to take it somewhere like ACE hardware or look up available o-rings on McMaster Carr

And I've never seen a delete plate that didn't use a traditional o-ring. How thick is it? LOL.

Come on man... Sound symposer has been deleted since I bought it! This is going on it today and I'm just going to drill and tap the current delete plate. This is the one I was planning to put on it. Nice and pretty all blacked out..
