So I installed my intercooler from Whoosh Motorsports and it doesn’t sit low enough. Thinking of modifying the mounts to have it sit lower to fill the whole lower grille.

Yes that looks like the OP hung the IC on the tabs instead of sliding it on upward from the bottom .
Aidan at the top of the IC it just hooks on the tab and that keeps it from moving forward and backward. You slide it up from the bottom. The weight of the IC rests on the bottom mounting points. I am pretty sure you slid the top mounts down over the tabs and that is why its so high.
