2016 Focus St. White smoke started driving home one night. Got it to the shop and replaced the head gasket.. Attempted to take the car home, made it about 10 minutes up the road, car was rough idling, trying to die, didn't want to run. Took it back to the shop I work at and retimed it. Doesn't seem to be an issue within that region now. The rough idling has subsided as of now and there are no performance issues. I've drove it the last couple of days. The white smoke is still there, while idling and while accelerating. But there is no smell to the smoke. Have removed the spark plugs and no sign of coolant, but there is a slight coolant loss. But you do smell coolant periodically when you walk around the front of the car. Completely at a loss for words. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. Any ideas?
