Hi All,

I was installing a pedal spacer this past weekend. During the install I had been placing my various tools on top of the dash. I now know that this was ill advised...One of my sockets rolled down and into the windshield defroster vent and is now gone into the abyss that is the dash.

I've been hearing it rolling around somewhere but can't tell exactly where and can't always get it to repeat itself. Anybody have an idea where it may have gone to? How much of a pain in the rear is it going to be for me to get this out?

Nobody to blame but myself. I'll live with the consequences. Hopefully it finds its way into some innocuous nook and or crannie where it wont roll anymore.

Really dum idea? Magnet on string? Probably stick to car metal parts before your socket?
Anyways, hope you find a solution. The noise would drive me nuts.
