Thanks for your opinions guys. I filled it up with 89, because i looked at the price of 93 and it was over 50 cents more a gallon compared to 87. Being in the winter, I wont be romping on it as hard... and yes it would only be 100$ more a year, but is it really necessary? I am not sure. I honestly think i've noticed a difference in power from using 89 to 93. (93) was put in the car when i got it. But it could just be in my head.
I am averaging close to 26MPG, mostly highway right now. I havent been that frugal on my shifts though, typically shifting between 2-3 rpm. (I just got the car im not going to drive it like a grandma)
I want to use 93, but I feel like it might be a waste of money in the long run. What im going to do, is next tank, going to fill up with 93 and see if there is a difference in mileage. If its more than 2mpgs, I might just stick with 93
