Warning Brake Fluid Low

Yea, the dealership replaced it since it was under warranty
Mine did this. Took 2 visits before they could find the leak. Ended up with a new master cylinder. No problems since.
I had this problem for MONTHS! I went to the dealership several times and they could not diagnose the problem. They would just rest the light and it'd turn on miles away from the dealership.
Turns out the issue was that they'd check my front brake pads only since they assume those wear out faster. They finally decided to look at the REAR BRAKES, and that's when they dicovered they were down to about 1cm left. As soon as they switched those pads, problem fixed! So make sure wherever you're taking your car that they're also looking at the REAR PADS.
Hey goku0650, Mooshin, and etagus,

Glad to read that your issues were resolved! :) Thank you for posting about your resolutions.

They said the pads were fine, and it just seems so unlikely as I have 16k on the car but 10k at least is highway with little to no braking.
Hey Suspect,

Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, please PM your name, VIN, mileage, dealer, and best daytime phone number; I'll gladly look into this.

Is it normal on a two year old '13 ST with 15500 miles? Because what the OP described is exactly whats happening to me and I dont think I have any leaks. Could it be the pads wearing like COBBST said?
This happened to me, I just topped it off, now i'll keep an eye on it and see what happens..
Hey TrevorGoodchild and mdomicolo,

Have you had a chance to have this inspected by your Ford Dealer? Our certified techs are best to diagnose.

Weird you say that. It's actually going Monday, also having them look at two TSB issues I have, and my driver window sounds lose, it makes noise going down the road.

Just got a call from the dealer. They're not doing anything to my car. They don't find any issues and the issue with my drivers side window is a "trim item" and they will not be fixing that. What the f*ck did I buy an extended warranty for. What a waste of damn money. Beyond pissed off right now ...
I'll gladly look into this for you, mdomicolo. Please PM your name, VIN, mileage, dealer, best daytime phone number, and a summary of the issues you're currently experiencing.

I have the same problem, mine is below the minimum line! My brakes make noise, but im like 19k miles, this shouldnt be happening
Hi White Focus,

Has this been resolved since your last post? If not, go ahead and PM your VIN, updated mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location, as well as some more details on your concern.

I noticed the same message as well. I work an overnight shift and have been driving in some cold temps lately in CT. The light would come on, only when very cold - below 30 degrees F. The brakes were engaged and I was on a hill facing down stopped at a stoplight. The message popped twice under the same circumstances on separate occasions about 2 weeks apart. It hasn't happened at any other times and under any other conditions. I looked today quickly when I arrived at work and there looks to be some fluid around the fill cap. Not sure if this was spillover from when the car was last serviced or not. It was dark, so I will check the levels again during the daylight. I did **not** get the message today, but just felt like checking it. I got the message a few days ago.
Hey magogliati,

Thanks for posting about the issue you're experiencing. Have you had a chance to speak with your Ford Dealer about this?

Happened again over the weekend. I had called the dealer and I am going in for an oil change and to have them look at this. Similar circumstances over the weekend. It was cold, I was stopped with the brakes engaged at the same traffic light. It came on, and as soon as I let off the brake when the light turned green, it went away. Stopped at a parts store, grabbed some fluid and put a little in Sunday. No problems this morning.
