Tunes comparison: Stratified vs Cobb vs Freektune vs Mountune (virtual dyno inside)

Decided to compare all of my stage 1 tunes. Mods are depo intercooler and resonator delete, that's it. All dyno runs were performed back to back in the exact same conditions. I did a run, parked, and then switched to the next tune. All charge temps were the same for all 4 runs (around 60). Runs were performed on the exact same closed road at the exact same starting point.

I know virtual dyno isn't necessarily 100% accurate, but still interesting to see.

Some notes: freektune had the most negative corrections during the run (but still low, -1.5 or less) and cobb has the least (zero all the way through). Freektune felt the best/most powerful, followed by cobb, then mountune, then stratified. Stratified had terrible low end and the dyno reflects that. I know a lot of people like the throttle feel of stratified, but I don't. Freektune felt the best/most peppy.

I wonder how much power was left on the table by doing these back to back. I know stratified likes to have their maps get stronger when the ECU knows you have good gas (OAR -1). A clear indication that they had more waiting is the low end power.

Nice work at getting some data together!

When I was running this stratified tune at -1 OAR, the numbers were nearly identical

91 octane? should have thrown in Cobb stage 2 OTS as well seeing as you have an upgraded intercooler.
Mountune has the better torque though. It's the torque you feel pushing you into your seat, not the hp.
@joshst85 I've done vdyno before however now when I try it it states I need the gas pedal position to be logged. I have looked everywhere but can't find that option under parameters to log. Any help is appreciated.

That works then. Good stuff.
Thanks so much for sharing your results. Can you tell us what octane fuel you were using for these pulls? Thanks in advance.
Is there any sort of warranty maintained by Mountune that might be beneficial?
Thanks bro I was deciding between freektune or stratified you mad it easy freektune it is lol

Thought that required an aftermarket intake?

I wouldn't base it strictly on my logs. Forgot to mention stratified had to do 3 revisions to my tune to get rid of negative corrections, so that probably took away some power.
I'm honestly surprised at how well Cobb performs against all these. Especially having no negative corrections

I agree. I wouldn't let this thread alone make that decision for you; I think you're jumping the gun. If you're like me, I've been reading a researching to the point my head hurts. One thing I have seen is tons and tons and tons of praise for Stratified around here. But beyond that, an equal amount of tonnage of support and great responses from the guys at Stratified. I've seen them jump in many many threads not directly targeted st them and have not seen the same from Freektune. Just an innocent, outside observation.
