Tires

Hey guys.

Upgraded from a 2012 focus SEL hatch to a 2013 ST3 with 50k on it in September. The car still has the stock F1's and need replaced.

I live in the Cleveland area & am looking into a set of all seasons (a second set of wheels & snow tires aren't happening).

I'm stuck between the bfg g force tires & the dws06.

I had the old style conti DWS on my other focus & they were great tires.

Anyone have any input on these tires?

Thanks a bunch & look forward to getting this car modded up!

He win's the reply competition.

Also... :whs:

Edit: Get a nice set of winter tires from Discount Tire Direct using their ebay special and save $100 then using the $100 you saved get them mounted and balanced by a reputable shop on your stock wheels then over the winter save up for a nice set of summer tires again and repeat the process. Now you have tires for years to come you can switch back and forth and no need for another set of wheels. Blizzaks are a good choice for heavy snow. ;)

The weather here is too all over the place all the time here. 70 & sunny on Monday. 2 feet of snow Wednesday thru Friday then back to 70s for the weekend

This comes up about once a week. I and several others like the Michelin AS3's. They aren't cheap but they are possibly the best all-round tire for our car. I abuse mine and at 20k miles they still have more than half the tread. I'll likely get around 40-50k. This after my F1's wore out in 20k miles, and my Michelin Super Sports wore out in 27k miles.
