If you are thinking of doing this, don't it sounds terrible. Hell, dont even do it with a cat, it may sound good but its just cheap work. Get a proper system, your car and ears will thank you. This is a 3" catless dp with a 2.5" exhaust that was custom. There was no side pipe on it to eliminate the terrible decel noise it makes. So this just a prime example of what not to do. I will be installing my mountune turboback tonight and will have a video for that as well.

To the Honda converts, don't do it you wanker she-male stalking prick lol. Be proper, its RICE. Unless you have a straight pipe with a giant turbo making 1000hp sticking out your hood, quit being a f-boy and ricing your car like i did. Link below. Yes i know hitting fuel cut at redline and fuel cut LC is bad for the car, i dont do that all the time. It was just for show. Cheers!

I am running a roush CBE which only has a resonator, I have a MBRP catless DP I plan on installing. Do I need to worry about this?

I haven't listened to this video yet but I had your setup and it was horrible. Above 4000 rpm's it was the sound combination of bees and a weed whacker simultaneously. I instantly went to a catted downpipe and it helped significantly.

Put an exhaust on the car...
My original question, I have a ROUSH cat back exhaust. The ROUSH has no muffler just a resonator. I asked if mine would sound like this aswell.

My bad just saw your last post, it shouldn't be as bad and if you don't like it you can take it a muffler shop and have them weld in an additional muffler for under 100 bucks. I have an mbrp with the resonator and muffler and I am thinking about changing my set up because it is too much drone for me.

I have mbrp and I am built big turbo with catless down pipe and would steer people away from mbrp based on my experience with fitment and quality I did buy the cheapest installers series strictly because of price. I would have saved the extra couple hundred and bought roush if I could do it again.

Ouch, I love the sound of my MBRP, and I do plan on putting on a high flow dp, but I never want it to sound like that. Good plan going back to your Mountune setup.
