We have hit the next step for our JST Performance Focus ST Time Attack car!

We have since had the car weighted and corner balanced, swapped over to Continental Challenge Slicks, Added a Rally Innovations wing (that we will be modifying soon for adjustability), Fabbed and added APR Carbon Fiber F1 Mirrors, a Focus SE hatchback oem wing, and made a few more aero tweaks to hold us down until we can start working on our custom front Splitter and rear diffuser.

The BIG news is that we have added a GTX2867R .64 Turbo, A Stratified 2 Port Auxilary Fuel system, and an MFactory Limted Slip differential.
All of this should yield some pretty serious results on track! We have decided to currently detune the car for NASA TT3 Time Trial Class which will limit us to only about 315 Whp. If we choose to jump to the Nasa TT2 Class we will be allowed up to around 410WHP, but will be facing some much more serious competition.

We strapped the car on the dyno yesterday to dial in the tune, and found that there seems to be an issue with the turbo. It is building boost VERY slowly compared to what it should. The car is not breaking the 20psi threshold until around 3900rpms in 4th gear on the dyno, and it should be doing that feat at least by the 3300rpm mark or so, so low end torque has greatly fell off. However, the car is holding boost great on top end, 25psi to redline yielded 377WHP on 93 octane. We will be backing it down to the 315whp range for TT3 use this coming up weekend, but for Global Time Attack events we will be running an E40 blend and shooting for around 400WHP.

Our First competition event is this weekend at Roebling Road Raceway in Savannah,Ga at the NASA Southeast Round 1. We're hoping for great results in our first Nasa event of many. Wish us luck!

lots of updates since this last post. will try to update when i get a chance haha. Fixed the spool issue, found a brake issue, added 200+mm of tire to the car with some pretty huge 285 tires all the way around it ( still working on the fenders for fitment), andn took it to the drag strip and ran a [email protected] MPH with a very terrible launch. Car should run 11.5 or so at over 120mph in the 1/4 mile once its dialed in and we can get it to launch with the track alignment haha

I was actually tuning it on the go at the track, i would estimate only around 380-390 whp though on that run. Ive already made a new tune on E40 that i will be utilizing next time out to see if we can find some more power :)

have you looked into switching the accordion elbow out with something that provides smoother air flow?
at this power level im not quite sure if it is restricting power, but yes we may change it soon for good measure. May actually just swap over to a full aftermarket intake and sell the RS airbox and MBRP intake tube

It probably doesn't help with power, but just a cheap silicone coupler would look a lot better than the accordion. I got mine for like $10 on Amazon. ?
