Thanks to @nickbaldwin86 for the quick build layout template

Brakes:
Nothing, I like to live life on the edge...hopefully ordering new pads, rotors, and lines soon. Undecided on which (Probably Mountune package with blank rotors, street pads, ss lines)
HAHA no problem man! I think I took it from @UnfocusedST

My recommendation on brakes is either RS Brembos (price is really so cheap no to) OR go with OEM rotors (they are the same and WAY cheaper on rockAuto), Mountune front and rear street pads, SS lines (I run StopTech) and Amsoils brake fluid (non-race).

Great build man!

Perfect! do you have the P/Ns for the rotors on rockAuto? I really need to do brakes sooner rather than later, but I'm having a hard time spending money after I bought my turbo.

ACDELCO 18A81994A Advantage Info - Front

Might do a little more research or call a dealer for a part number but that should be it.

Pretty sure that is what you are looking for... looking at amazon they are $25

And I got mine from another user. I also have hyperlinks to most the items I installed.

Well my brakes have been squeaky and dusty. Time to buy some real pads! I'm looking into Hawk HPS or some EBC...

Also my F***ing downpipe bracket tore and it's been rattling and driving me NUTS. I think I am either going to buy 2 and double up, or get another one and epoxy the eff out of it for robustness.

I think urethane, like 3m window weld may be a decent solution. On a new, properly surface prepped mount.

Unless you want to go Rebel Devil.

I have been looking around at some random poly urethanes (Loctite)...like roofing sealants but the temps are my main concern with that stuff. I'll look into 3M some more.

I have reached out to rebel devil without any luck so far. I don't know if I want to pay for that bracket, which is why I may just buy a couple OEM hangers and play with them myself.

BTW, my silicone sleeve on my hotside pipe is still holding up against the traction bar!

Took my car to the dealer, my guy offered to replace the downpipe bracket for $100. I accepted before they realized they had to remove the entire exhaust lol.

Fixed for now! We will see how long it lasts.

Sunday is a nice cruise day with the local ST/RS fam. Hitting a nice scenic drive around the thumb of Michigan finishing off with a car show and Fireworks at the M1 concourse in Pontiac, MI! Capture.PNG

Apparently there a VW DP bracket that is better than our OEM that fit with a little modding.

Also, what turbo is that?
