Got an engine light, only 2200 miles. Took it in. A squirrel chewed the wire for the gas tank pressure. 189 dollars later it was fixed. Never had an issue in the last 30 years. I was told the New wiring is soy based and animals love it. As long as I keep driving I'm all right, they can't catch me. But I hate to leave it sit long.

LOL

Some dude had his wiring harness chewed up by a mouse a few years back (on a Lotus Elise). Cost him a little more than $189 though :)
Damn critters...
Glad you got that fixed and that the car's OK

Yes, the coating is soy based, environmentally friendly. Not the wires themselves of course. At least i live where I can shoot anything I want. I tried the pistol on the chipmunks, but i can't see as well as I used too, bifocals and all that. So I switched to the shotgun. The bodies are starting to pile up. Lol. Don't need the squirrels or chipmunks if they are going to eat my car. They don't bother the fusion or GMC truck but they like my focus.
