Very nice people at this forum have pointed me to the iPhone (And Android) app "Ford Sync destinations". So I've downloaded that and installed it.
It requires a registration on SYNC Owner | Welcome to Manage SYNC
I tried to register and it wouldn't accept my VIN. I used the chat app to talk to their support person. He said the VIN was fine, but didn't know why it wouldn't register. He gave me a contact number to call, which of course was US only, so I'm guessing SyncMyRide doesn't work for UK cars for some reason.
Has anyone in the UK had any experience?
On the ford.co.uk web site you can register as an owner, and that works with the VIN. No access to Sync stuff there, although you can download the manual, which might be useful.
