Here is a comparison of my 2015 ST, between stock , Cobb OTS stage 3 93, and Stratified SOTS for stage 3 parts. The stock run was done using Cobb stage 0.

Installed parts as follows:

NGK one step colder gapped to 0.26
Roush CAI
CPE Delta Core intercooler
Catless downpipe with stock exhaust.

Now either this shows how crappy our Western Canada fuel is or how well the stock tune performs with bolt ons...take your pick. All runs done using same tank of Chevron 94 octane.

OAR at -1 with Cobb 0/3. OAR at -0.15 with Stratified. On the Stratified tune the lowest I have seen the OAR using our Chevron 94 is -0.35. All runs done in 3rd gear.

I'm assuming Stock = Orange, Cobb = Blue, and Strat = Green here...

At first I was like why is the Strat tune so low? Then remembered you said it wasn't at -1. Looks about right in that case.

On both the Cobb and Stratified tunes, the torque down low is the biggest difference. Pulls very hard down low. On my car as you can see by the graph, after about 4500rpm all 3 tunes pull about the same. I was actually surprised by the stage 0 with the bolt ons. The main thing is the torque targets down low in the stock tune but it goes to show that bolt ons do provide a good increase in the top end with no tune. Both stock and stratified tunes barely knock at all. The Cobb tune usually shows a total of about 7 knocks combined, but all very minor as I understand as timing corrections never dropped below +2.50.

I'm no tuning pro to say the least... But I thought based on what Randy states on the M-tune website you're supposed to do pulls in 4th gear as this is the closest to a 1:1 ratio? Just curious.. non-threatening comment here..
