I know a full custom tune is not for everyone. The time required to do the logging sometimes doesn't fit in people's schedules and lives. That doesn't mean your ST can't enjoy an excellent tune. We've developed our Stratified Flash Tunes (Formerly S-OTS+) for just these situations. In these Flash Tunes we take full advantage of this car's ECU strategies to maximize performance while staying safe and delivering excellent driveability for the modifications you have installed.

These tunes are built to match your particular modifications (any stage K03 powered car is supported) and fuel octane you are using. We also use all of COBB's latest features such as launch control, on the fly map switching, flat foot shifting, etc.

These tunes are also included at no charge with all our AccessPorts when purchased from us.

Our Stratified Flash Tunes can be built for any market car: USDM, ADM, EDM.

Have a look at our site for further information:

If you want to run E85 blends for even more performance, we have our Stratified E85 Flash Tunes

For a review thread of these tunes, please see here:

If I order a stos+ tune, can you guys set me up with the on the fly map switching and stuff?

Im still running a randy fswerks tune and have been wanting to upgrade to all the new features.

Also if I order a stos+ tune, and decide to add a part down the road, is there a fee to update or is it just the cost of the tune over again?

We strive to keep up to date with all the latest technologies, releases, and updates. These include internal R&D work as well as features added by COBB. All of our SOTS+ maps have been updated to version 2.0 and are now more user customizable than ever. Any SOTS+ map purchase from yesterday on will include these updates and changes. This update is fairly extensive and covers the following:

SOTS+ Custom Stratified Tunes

- Allows option for rolling map switching
- Allows option for fuel cut and throttle cut launch control limiters
- Changes made to throttle mapping to improve smoothness
- Increased torque output for all modification levels
- Increased response for all modification levels
- Increased top end power for all modification levels
- Low in-tank fuel pressure failsafe that can occur during high acceleration events and low fuel levels due to sloshing

All of our Full Custom Tunes of course include all updates and new features as well.

Every COBB AP purchased from us includes the latest SOTS+ map built to your specifications.

As an appreciation to our current customers, we are going to do an upgrade program for the SOTS+. This allows everyone who has purchased and enjoyed our maps to get upgraded to the latest features and also update their maps if their modifications or fuel octane they are using changes.

The upgrade is now live on our site and it is $25CAD.

Updates to the tune fall under the tune upgrade program - link below. As new features get rolled out by COBB or your modifications change this is a good way to stay up to date with your SOTS+.

Hey Alex, do you have any logs or dynos to show v1.0 vs v2.0?
We will start seeing these from customers that have had consistent modifications throughout V1 and V2. I can tell you that targets are increased across the board.

I just purchased an update for my original SOTS tune this morning. My question is this, it seems that cobb bumped the rpm's up in all v300 OTS maps but since i have had the recall done I shoudnt need the higher RPM level right? If so can the new tune take that into account? Also, im planning on putting in some Denso22's this weekend. Do you need to know that when making a new tine?

A throttle closure will not cause much of a power loss. This looks more like a bit of heat soak. Did you happen to log the runs?
No logs, unfortunately. They were using the OBD port for RPM. Hood was open, I have an upgraded FMIC, fans were on, and it was like 55 degrees in she shop. Car was off for like 2hrs before the runs. The power is very consistent too. I really doubt it's heat soak...

Flash Tune V3.00 has been released!

This is something that I have worked on quite a bit - improving shifting. I felt the ST was very clumsy on upshifts so this update focuses on making the ST feel like a normal manual car when shifting.
Improvements to throttle control as well as variable valve timing were also incorporated in the tune.

As usual all new flash tune orders include these features as well as all custom tunes.
If you want to upgrade your existing flash tune, we have an upgrade program.

All AccessPorts purchased through us come with the latest flash tune.

Finally, don't forged about the E85 flash tune if you're looking for even more performance.

I have been testing these changes, let me tell you guys: This is a huge release. These changes are absolutely experience changing when it comes to driving. We all know that this platform has this X-factor when it comes to driving it, something we can't quite explain to our friends. This change enhances that 10 fold. This is absolutely better than OEM, better than this car should have came. I giggled for hours while I was testing this for the first time. This update is a measurable change to the way the car behaves during shifting.
Concerning the VCT changes: Stratified has two cars with different setups for which to test changes on, ensuring we can bring you changes that have been tested, driven in every circumstance, and PROVEN.
