If im running a stock FMIC and DP, and later add in a new catted DP and larger FMIC, will the stratified tune adjust? or will i need to get an additional tune? Ive heard that the FRPP tune does not due to torque limiting, but curious on the Stratified.

Or better yet is there a tune that responds best to added mods...less BT (not doing that, lol)

The car will run just fine with those mods except for the DP. The DP will probably need to be tuned for. An intake and intercooler are fine to run on a tune or stock.

No tune will offer a "self adjusting" feature. Our ECU is ridiculously smart, and it does make changes on the fly, but not for performance. It keeps itself safe.

If you start throwing mods on your car for example, the ECU is programmed to be ingesting a certain amount of air so it will throw the right amount of fuel at it to get the optimal stoichiometric mixture. So if you mod and allow the engine to ingest a different amount of air or improving flow, it will have a hard time figuring out how much fuel to give it and will often think something is wrong so it will play on the safe side to not kill itself. The ECU is given a torque value and it will do what it needs to in order to meet those values. So sometimes you will not get full boost, and that is because you are making the torque limit without maxing out boost.

This is a SUPER simple way of explaining it but it is typically a good idea to tune for the mods that you do. That way you are seeing the actual improvements that are supposed to come along with the mod.
