Can you notice a preceived performance drop from the higher temps?

I was at a track event and the longest session I was out for was 27 mins. My lap times never dropped, and my top speed was consistant at 130 mph at the end of the straight.

Is the ECU just so well programmed that it doesn't loose power? Or do you think intake temps eventually stabilized at xx degrees and that point wasn't enough to hurt performance?

BTW temps were around 45- 50 degrees that day.

Yes. I would also imagine that you were working within a set temperature range lap to lap. As ECT and CAC temperature climbs timing decreases as does power output.

Hey bud sorry for posting on such an old thread. I am a little lost on the forums. Everywhere I go I see great advice by you and I have a specific question about my intercooler. I bought a Godspeed type m 28 overall 20 x 6 x 2.5 core intercooler. Will this be better than factory you think? Or did I go to small? Thanks for your time and apologies If I posted incorrectly.
