Curious to find out if it's acceptable to use a stock paper air filter in the RS box, in conjunction with a Velossa Tech Snorkel? Seeing as aftermarket filters do little more than add noise, I prefer the better filtration of the OEM filter. I've heard that the Snorkel increases the chance of water entering the box. I've also read that was why aftermarket filters should be used with a snorkel (to absorb any unwanted H2O). Any truth to this??

They have a paper filter in them from the dealer
Yes they do. Had heard that the snorkel has a higher risk of allowing water to get into the filter box. Some have said I "should" use an oiled filter with the snorkel due to that. Was curious to get others experiences/opinions.

Try it out and after a good rain see if the filter is wet? Should be easy enough to check with the air box being "open" exposing the filter. I dont see too much water getting sucked in as it would have to travel up the snorkel. I think gravity is your friend here.

Does the RS standard run the same intake feed as the ST? I've just fitted an RS box and mountune filter.
Wondering if worth upgrading the intake to a big mouth one or RS if its bigger any advice on this?
As I read somewhere that a bigger intake doesn't suit the RS box as its an open box 🤔
Here's a pic of it after I installed it last night.
