OK - so we got a Cobb Accessport and I would like a little help with what map to use. The car has an MBRP Exhaust and Rousch Intake. Would there be a benefit in going with a Stage 2 or 3 tune? Also, we are limited in SoCal to 91 Octane gas - so is that going to make the decision for me?

stage 1 = stock
stage 2 = intercooler
stage 3 = intercooler plus downpipe

with catback and intake, you're still at stage 1.

Definitely need an aftermarket intercooler for anything over stage 1. For stage 1, some folks even do an aftermarket intercooler or active grill shutter delete (or disable while at full open) to slow heat soak with stock intercooler. The stock intercooler barely keeps up with the stock tune.

This is just my personal opinion, but anything over stock and I'd also look into a new rear motor mount too.

Just go balls to the wall, and go big turbo, with supporting mods, and some WMI and a Custom Tune for it.... Forget that stage 1 stage 2 crap lmao. :wink: :wink:

Do you have the MBRP Downpipe too, or just catback?

If you have the downpipe, drop in a Depo Son of Beast intercooler ($350) and go full Stage 3! You'd also want to consider motor mounts and suspension to put all the torque to the ground, but it'd be a blast either way.
