you need to post your dyno pulls with and without this kit. that will convince alot more people!
Ryan,
It's completely variable.
I think that it is important for members and owners to remember that this is not a power adder. The fuel system only provides the additional fueling capacity to be able to achieve the horsepower you are aiming for.
I've got a handful of guys with MS3/MS6's that run auxilery port-fuel injection systems who make 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 horsepower and beyond.
What it comes down to is the flow rate of the injectors, the pumping capability, and volumetric flow capacity from your pump/s to the rail to keep your differential pressure constant or rising.
I myself run Speed Perf6rmanc3's Port Injection fuel system on my MS3 even though my power goal is only 450-500 horsepower on E85. I am only utilizing a small fraction of the entire kit's capacity. However, I run it because it is reliable, consistent, and makes my power goal a breeze to achieve.
As long as you can increase the pumping/volumetric efficiency of the engine, everything else is just textbook procedure.
I know that Speed Perf6rmance already has multiple cylinder head solutions lined up for real world dyno testing that can and will support 800 horsepower or more.
We already possess multiple tuning solutions for the OEM ECU, and have additional custom support from several reverse ecu engineering companies.
Standalone options are also going to be available in time as we sort out the proper configurations.
I see no reason why the EcoBoost platform can't or won't make big horsepower as you have seen with the MZR's.
Once we start tuning some bigger power cars, I will most certainly post up before/after dyno plots to show how the auxiliary port-fuel injection system will provide you with the necessary fueling to achieve a wide range of power goals!
