It gets rid of the piped in sound from the intake, and, you can get one with a vacuum nipple if you need a vacuum source.

Only if your sound symposer is leaking.

I prefer the delete CFM makes, it is unbranded/labeled, comes with the firewall plug, and is half the price of the Cobb that doesn't come with the firewall plug. If you want a Steeda ones it's affordable and has the Steeda logo machined into it. Or you can pay $50 for the Cobb

I think the sound sympser delete changes the noise level from inside the cabin... to louder. I am a newbie so that's what my guess is from what I have read.

No, if you delete the SS the interior cabin is much quieter. I found that I missed the noise, so I put mine back on. I think with a catback exhaust and a CAI, you'd get more engine noise. And you'd hear more turbo spooling.
