I'm at 165 miles on the motor now, noises have gone down, settling in nicely.

That BSD though... man it adds some vibration. Oil changes are now right around 8qts now for those curious. I now can confirm where every loose bolt and panel is on the interior.

Raising the idle RPM up to help with that.

Pretty cool to meet 3 forum members on here at Ford Nationals this weekend.

Car did well but ended Friday with valve train noise I have to diagnose.

Finest 5 and 1st Place for Carlisle Voting. Awesome weekend as usual.

Was great to see my friends more than anything.

Sorry I didn't get to say HI in person. My ride was bothering me about leaving for food. I was under the assumption that we were coming back but apparently not.
I'll catch you next year!

Yikes. Did you toss an oil pressure Gauge on it before teardown?

Did you figure out the root cause of the issue? Too tight bearing clearance? Oiling issue?
