Hello.

I am trying to remove fuse for shutter (AGS) on my 2016.
My research says fuse F35 needs to be removed. However the 2016 fuses run from F57 to F89.
Which fuse is it for this year?

PS are there cons to this mods other than battery code?

Thank you!

Here is the location from the 2016 manual.

Note, I never received a battery code or warning at all from my dash. It might be a code that needs a reader. The only thing I noticed is that my oil temperature consistently reads "cooler" It used to be dead center of the oil temp gauge, but now sits slightly below center. Also, it DOES seem to help performance a little bit, but that might be placebo effect. I stored the fuse in the fuse box for convenience

I live in SoFla, so it's most likely that my Grille Shutters are normally open, but I decided to make sure. The only "con" I can see from this is that more stuff will hit your FMIC since it will always be open, but seeing how every after market FMIC on the market has you disable AGS, I can't see it being a big problem. Even the factory approved Montune HP 275 kit removes the AGS, so it appears even Ford doesn't have a huge problem with it, but I will put the fuse in any time I take it to the shop, just to not give them any excuse.

Yep F36, just pulled mine the other day! Was closed when stopped and engine warm so I did not like that since I would assume that would cause even more heat soak in the FMIC.
