I see people asking about the Stratified pops on normal driving. So last night when i picked up my son from his job (McDonalds, but hey he is working and just turned 17) I decided to pick up the GoPro and record the drive. Its about 35* when it was recorded, car sat for 2 days so nice and cold. I never took it over 2500 rpm and never got into boost on the way there. For me this is normal driving until its at least 160* on the oil temp.

On the way home i got on it a little, as you can hear, the Stratified TC kicked in through 2nd gear, and i took it to 4865 (according to AP)in third. AP read 18.5 psi i didnt know this was a result lol

Loud or Medium level pops? Sounds great!

Oh and by all means great for your son! Glad to hear he is making his own money regardless of where it is. Most kids his age now a day don't understand the importance of being responsible and working to make their own money.

Im not sure how they do the levels now, back then it was 2 and this is the louder pops.

And yes, im proud regardless. i know some guys that are mid 20's and never held a job still living at home, both my kids started working when they were 17. He has better drive and control then me, his first day he was spit on. All because of how long it took to get some cookies.. but hes been yelled at, insulted, had food thrown at him.. and we live in the nicer part of Vegas lol, hate to see how it is in the ghetto parts lol..
I ask because I kinda want to try the medium pops but don't want it to be annoying.

I got my first job years ago at 17 at a Dairy Queen that serves food. Had a milkshake thrown at me and been yelled at countless times. Less than a year I was a head shift leader and had to deal more with complaints and such more...angry people do angry things. Takes a strong personal mentally to deal with some stuff people say to fast food workers and not blow a top.
I have the V2 pops (V2 is the loudest, V3 is medium) on a catted downpipe and stock exhaust. You can hear it on every overrun, although most of the time the pops are barely noticeable. Certainly isn't annoying but it does sound fabricated much of the time.
Pretty sure I'll go with the medium option so it isn't too much for sure and doesn't sound too fabbed. Thanks FoST2016
