"This sensor on the newer EcoBoost engines, is only measuring temperature. Pressure data is not needed in this location for the computers on these cars. We have had them installed on our test cars with and without tunes. We have also analyzed the data with these kits in driving situations, to be sure our air/fuel ratio was correct. This is the same location we use for the sensor location on our Fusion intake system, and we have already sold 100s of these Fusion EcoBoost kits ... without issue. Our Fusion intake also produces more horsepower gains than our competitors? kits. The sensor used in these systems, is very reliable, and not susceptible to damage." - steedaDoes anyone know why Steeda moved the sensor in front of the intake filter?
