Best to build a config via laptop specific for your car

I have been configuring my own files with the parameters I want but most of them stay at the same value or move every so often. I have tried selecting different ones but still the same issue, some work but others don't. I also have no DMRs available only PIDs and OBDs. I have tried only logging via laptop without creating the configuration but still won't change the values. I have tried other configuration files people have sent me but only some parameters work correctly. I am currently using version 15 of livelink and my strategy is GMDG15V, it is a 2016 Focus ST. If anybody could help me I'd be so grateful I've been going crazy lately trying to get it to work and spent countless hours in the garage hooked up to the car via the laptop.

This is what I was referring to. Take laptop to the car, plug it in and turn on ignition. There is a new update for Ford strategies. Click I want to create datalog config. file button and validate all pids. Build it from there.
Yes it can. They now use the spark advance and spark advance v2. You can see the correction in those parameters. Try the new update and see if it has the DMR's now. We had the same issue with a new 16 mustang. @Blivit was a great helpOh ok I see what you mean now, I tried that as well and it gives me many more choices but some still stay at the same value or change very abruptly. Ex: ambient 72F couple minutes later 76F and stay there and skips between different values instead of steadily changing. There is also still no cylinder corrections 1-4. could it be something to do with my strategy being to new?

There is a new update that I got today for Ford strategies. No problem man. Open livelink and go to the tools tab and check for updatesWhat new update are you referring to? I thought that version 15 for livelink was the newest one? I really appreciate your help and input by the way.

No you must have the latest. PM @Blivit and ask about your strategy. He works for SCTI tried updating but it says it has no updates. Hmm am I doing something wrong?
