Has anybody been able to buy JUST the airbox from this kit? 2012-2017 Ford Focus 2.0L I-4 ROUSH Cold Air Intake Kit

I don't want their filter, just the lid. Or perhaps would anybody on here sell me theirs?

I saw one on ebay, but its gone now. You can get the airbox cover and filter if you buy this kit: 2012-2014 Ford Focus 2.0 Liter 4 cylinder Roush Cold Air Intake Kit 421642 | eBay

Yeah, I was just showing you the part, I happen to already be at ebay.
I cut open my stock box to just do this myself. Gotta buy some weather strip but that is like $10 a roll so im happy with the outcome. Here is the cut look with the stock intake. I have a full cai on it now with the same box setup . If i remember I'll take a better pic

I called Roush direct and ordered just the lid with the hood seal over the phone.

Beautiful, how many monies was that?

Pretty sure it was $75, but I don't remember to be honest. The Roush lid is significantly taller than the stock lid. So those cutting the stock lid and putting weather stripping on it, probably aren't sealing much of anything.

Does the intake and BPV sound noticeably louder? Only reason I'm really doing this.

I have a green filter in there, and you can definitely hear more induction noise and the BPV much more. I tried the cap on the end of the green filter once, and it definitely made it much more quiet. So I'm not sure how much more you'll hear with the stock filter.

Well I ended up using tall rubber stripping and I used some chalkdust to see where it was sitting against the hood if it was it all and sure enough it does make contact with the mat under the hood. I think now I'm going to go ahead and wrap the entire top in the weather stripping to form a complete seal or at least as close to a complete seal as I can. I'm definitely not going to complain for $10 of stripping and I think it looks pretty good. The roush box is definitely nice looking but I'm cheap LOL
