They both sound good from clips I've watched on youtube, just looking to get some feedback on both, more preferably on the FSwerks since its not as popular.
Roush 409ss catback -$600
FSWERKS 304ss catback (magnaflow muffler) -$680

Any exhaust you get you will pretty much get the same gains. I went with MBRP for price.... I know it wasn't an option here but I was more concerned about going 3" then sound lol

I thought I was dead set on getting the MBRP until I read some reviews, there were a lot of people complaining about fitment issues...did you experience any?

Don't do roush, I'm assuming winters in Michigan hit pretty hard and road salt will be an issue. 409 corrodes and rusts very easily. I vote fswerks

Why does 309 do better than 409?

Chromium content
The difference between t304 and t409 stainless steel lies in their chromium content. T304 has more chromium than t409, between 18% to 20%. It also has a nickel content between 8% to 10%. T409 has chromium content of 10.50% to 11.75%. Its nickel content is only 0.50%. Because t304 has so much chromium and nickel content and very little ferrous material, magnets will not stick to it, whereas magnets will stick to t409.
