Hi, i want to improve the sound of my exhaust, but i don't want it to be super loud and i'm not ready to invest in a new exhaust system. I want something that will provide a 25-50% increase in volume (i prefer deep tones). Would replacing the stock muffler with a turbo muffler improve the sound? I want the sound to be barely noticeable during normal daily driving and more noticeable at around 3500-4000 RPMs. I want something louder that i can enjoy, but not too loud to attract immediate attention. Thanks!

Probably wont be loud enough for you with just a resonater delete, its barely noticible from inside the car. You said you wanted 25 to 50 percent increase in sound, in my opinion resonater delete will barely get you to 20%.

I honestly love the tone with the resonator delete. No drone but you can definitely hear it when taking off

Cut out the resonator. Ignore every single other suggestion. Drive down to the muffler shop RIGHT NOW and cut out the resonator.

Will a resonator delete cause problems during an inspection? Thanks.
We don't have inspections here but I'm pretty sure they're only checking environmental regulations. Resonator only deadens sound so it shouldn't cause you to fail an inspection.

I just did the resonator delete myself, but I added a catless dp at the same time. I couldn't be more pleased with the sound.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks. I went ahead with the resonator delete and i'm happy with the results. I got a little bit more volume and a deeper tone without sounding too loud. Actually i wouldn't mind going a bit louder haha. Can't beat the price and simplicity of a resonator delete though.
