So i was driving on the highway when i had to hit the brakes pretty quick, and my passenger side rear seat just popped open. Thought it wasn't latched properly the last time it was used. But now the seat won't latch at all. The release button on top is permanently pressed in. Anyone else had this issue or quick fix. I'm not too worried about it and it could wait till my next servicing but i'd still like to get it resolved myself. it's a 2016 fully loaded ST3. i can post pictures if i need to

Sounds like the button was depressed to far. Try to wiggle the button a bit to see if can free-up.
Check there is nothing physically obstructing the latch.
I have had the seatbelt get in the way of the latch, but the button should return once 'locked'.

Thanks for the replies guys :) I tried wiggling the crap out of it but it won't pop back out. Seat belt wasn't in the way. i think i'll go have it checked since I'm due for a servicing anyways. Milk that warranty for all it's worth :)

Easy fix stick a flat bladed screwdriver in the latch trip it then man slam the seat back and it will catch and the seat will click. You must of not put it back hard enough last time you at down. Happen to me too.
