Random low beam fault with HIDs

Have the TRS kit with the new DSP ballasts and the HD relay harness. I have resistors on both sides as well. I've gotten a couple of random low beam faults and had the lights shut themselves off on me. Does anybody else have any experience with this?

Once you can read your BCM you will need to find the headlight section you will turn headlamps to alternative hid and find the line containing bulb dip (17 I believe) and change that to without then write to BCM.

While your at it you can also do the global open/close and have your windows roll up or down with the keyfob.

I am having this problem with my 2013 ST. Thought resistors would work but still getting code randomly. Have launch system and autel system and I can't find the programmable modules with those. So why would a elm327 and focccus program show me what these super expensive modules can't find? Or am I missing something here with them?

I recently used the FoCCCus 8.6 Beta for my modified Spyder Projector Headlights with H3 HIDs, using a Kensun Cancellor/Capacitor pack. Although it turned out I didn't need the cancel modules, FoCCCus was able to get rid of the Low Beam error code.

1. Head to #14 and select Alternate HID

2. Head to #17 and select without dipped dim headlights. *NOTE*This is a MUST in order for the Alternate HIDs to have an effect. Please remember, if after this change, you then disconnect and reconnect the headlights from the main harness plug in the engine bay, you'll have to re-read the BCM file and flash the ECM again. I found this out the hard way.

3. If you want the Global power windows go to #184 and select global power windows & sunroof. Wonderful stuff.

Next I'll try #196 and try the LED turn signal lights.. after I try the Valet modes.

I think the only thing that you might be missing out is software outside of FoCCCus for the ELM327. I keep about 3 different software applications for this on my laptop.
