Any of those custom made for the 2012-2017 focus or are they all universal.Use stick on visors, that go on the outside. The other type will screw up your rubber window trim over time.

Yeah I've seen those but I don't really like their shape. If they were just regular I probably would have picked them up.![]()
Make sure you prep the surface really well with rubbing alcohol. Most failures of these is because of poor surface prep.

I keep coming back and looking at this picture, I absolutely love the color of this car and everything about it. Wheels seem darker, tail lights seem to pop, the car looks almost purple-ish black, just awesome. Thanks for sharing this pic.I just installed AVS. No issues thus far

I actually ordered these on Friday. Nice to see them installed on a car, they don't look too bad at all. Ordered some real 3M tape to go with them too. Do you think they'd hold up in an automated car wash? (Never mind how bad those are)Just installed these "Mugen" style stick-on ones. I am still on the fence but they are growing on me. Seeing as I hand wash my car I am not too worried about car washes but I definitely can see having to reapply the 3M tape in a year or 2 (or less).
iI think they will but I think its all about the prep work. Mine came with 3M tape on them already. I wiped down all surfaces with alcohol prior to installation. It also helped that it was a bright, sunny day in the low 80's. I applied as much hand pressure as I could on them the length of the guards and then let them bake in the sun all afternoon. They seem to be on there pretty dang strong.I actually ordered these on Friday. Nice to see them installed on a car, they don't look too bad at all. Ordered some real 3M tape to go with them too. Once I receive them in the mail I'll take a look at the supplied 3M tape and make a call from there. I'd rather use the real stuff to be sure.
